Terms of Use

Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set forth the conditions governing the use of Gohan da yo! ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

These Terms apply to the iOS version of the App. If downloaded via the App Store, Apple Inc.'s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.

Service Overview

The App helps you manage daily meals, recipes, and ingredients.

Key features include:

• Recording and managing meal plans, recipes, and ingredient lists
• Recording cooking sessions
• Publishing recipes and copying recipes published by other users

Conditions of Use

To use the App, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information if you register an account

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post recipes or content that infringes on others' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Use images or information that violates third-party privacy
• Post or publish inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
• Attempt unauthorized access, tampering, or reverse engineering of the App's systems
• Overload the service (spam, mass requests, etc.)
• Sell, transfer, or lend your account
• Engage in any other conduct deemed inappropriate by us

User-Generated Content (UGC)

You may publish recipes through the App's features. Published recipes can be copied by other users. Once copied, those copies remain on the other user's device even if you later unpublish or delete the original recipe. We are not obligated to retroactively delete or synchronize previously copied content. You acknowledge this irreversibility when using the publishing feature.

You retain copyright of your published recipes. We have the right to use them to the extent necessary for providing the service (including display and copying by other users), but we will not sell them to third parties.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS." We are not liable for:

• Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
• Temporary suspension, interruption, or termination of the App
• Loss or corruption of content you have recorded or posted
• Accuracy or safety of recipes published by other users (including allergy information)
• Damages caused by failures of third-party services (e.g., Firebase)

If we are held liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nagoya District Court as the court of first instance.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as needed. Updated Terms take effect when the latest version is published on this page. We will notify you in the App if significant changes are made.

By continuing to use the App after revisions, you agree to the updated Terms.
