This Privacy Policy explains the information collected and used by Gohan da yo! ("the App"). Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
This policy applies to the iOS version of the App.
Information We Collect
The App may collect the following information:
1. Authentication Data (Firebase Authentication)
- User identifier (UID)
- Authentication provider information (Sign in with Apple / Google)
- Identifying information provided by the authentication provider (email address, display name, etc.; these may not always be provided, and the App does not separately request them)
2. On-Device Usage Data
- Meal plans, recipes, ingredient lists, cooking sessions, local photos, etc.
This data is stored on your device by default. If you choose to publish a recipe, its content is stored in the cloud (Firestore) and becomes available for other users to view and copy. Copies obtained by other users remain on their devices even if you later unpublish or delete the original (copies are not synchronized with the publisher's actions). See our Terms of Use for details.
3. Purchase Information (RevenueCat / In-App Purchase)
- In-app purchase history
- Subscription status
- Purchase date and plan information
Payment details such as credit card numbers are processed directly by Apple's platform; the App does not collect or store them.
4. Advertising & Device Information (Google AdMob, when ad features are enabled)
- Advertising identifier (iOS: IDFA)
- Device type and OS version
- Ad impression and click data
- Approximate location (country/region level)
User consent is obtained through appropriate consent flows (ATT / UMP) before using AdMob.
How We Use Your Information
- Providing authentication and displaying account information
- Providing core features such as meal planning, recipe and ingredient management
- Processing and managing in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Optimizing and improving ad relevance (when ad features are enabled)
- Improving the App and investigating issues
- Complying with legal requirements
Third-Party Sharing
The App shares information with the following service providers. Each provider manages information according to its own privacy policy.

We do not sell or rent personal information to any other third parties. However, we may disclose information as required by law.
Data Storage
Authentication-related data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. Usage data such as meal plans and recipes is stored on your device by default. Data is managed and protected according to each service's security standards.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will promptly delete it.
